By accepting that accidents and injuries can be prevented, it is the policy of Symmetrical Group to maintain a safe and healthy workplace by encouraging the highest level of safety awareness in all employees. An open dialogue within the company is encouraged on all matters of safety in order to promote this awareness and improve procedures. To this end all new employee’s are inducted to SYMSYS - Symmetrical Groups Integrated management system to ensure all employees are aware of the responsibility to conduct all work such that every bodies safety is a principal outcome.

This is achieved by having an attitude of concern for the safety and well-being of everyone at all times;
Being aware of known or potential hazards and endeavouring to minimise associated risks by providing adequate information, utilising controlled procedures and using protective equipment and approved safety devices;
Ensuring that all personnel are competent and capable of performing their duties through adequate training and supervision;
Ensuring all work sites are maintained to safe standards:

In conformity with industry and community standards and relevant legislation
With appropriate safety equipment, procedures and records to demonstrate compliance and facilitate improvements through feedback

This policy has been reviewed and endorsed by the directors of Symmetrical Group who foresee benefits in, and take responsibility for, its successful implementation. By accepting employment with the Company, each employee accepts that he/she is responsible for the application of this policy.
