Positions Available: Electrical Mechanic

We’re seeking electricians to join our team to carry out work associated with the manufacture, installation, commissioning and operation and maintenance at our client’s sites and on our clients equipment.
An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated 30 to 35K per hour with full overtime rates allowances etc.
Responsibilities of this position
Technical: Experience in the below fields is favourable but not essential. We understand everyone bring a different skill set to the organisation.
Control Systems
PLC system faulting, both software (program) and hardware based (wiring and field devices)
Relay Logic fault finding.
Testing and Commissioning
Proven track record or working knowledge of quality based systems
Completion of quality system documentation for new installations.
Ability to flow written procedures for testing and commissioning, Isolation and an Electrical Safety Management Plan
Ability to record and maintain test result documentation.
VS drives
Installation and maintenance
Ability to remove and replace existing hard wiring systems to new VS drive
Remove parameter set from existing drive and replace in new.
Data Installations
Ability to install too recognised standards or specifications.
Installation and test of L.V. systems.
High power system maintenance
Ability to maintain power distribution control devices
Generic electrical and data installations
Compliance
Understand, apply and adhere to all Environmental, Health and Safety policies and practices applicable to the job and the workplace
Observe and comply with the policies established and the directives issued for your safety and protection.
Administration
Keep up to date all records related to a job, as required by the quality system and procedures
Write and submit for review test records and job reports
Basic proficiency on computers and MS Office software
"On the job" training will be provided for all new personnel joining the company
As you master your skills you will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities with a view to becoming a Field Lead Hand, Shop Lead Hand, Testing Specialist or Transformer Winder.
To be successful in this role, you must possess electrical trades recognition. It will also be helpful if you have some electrical systems and/or machines knowledge or previous experience with Power distribution equipment.
Training
The successful applicants will be offered training to a total value of $2000.00 per year, this training can be used in to learn new skills related to our industry, We make available the training schedules of our suppliers and preferred equipment manufactures for you to choose the training most appropriate for you and the direction you would like to take your career. This training can also be used for Tafe courses. Symmetrical Group will allow flexible working hours that allow you to complete studies during working hours.
Unless prior agreement we will not pay for your time at the training seminars.
